Most parents, at one time or another, have felt the tremendous pressure and challenges, as well as the joys, of parenthood. Through the Young Children and Family Programs of the Palouse, many parents have learned the skills to feel more confident as a parent. We are in the position to help all parents with young children in Latah and Whitman County , but we can't do it without your help .
Thanks to generous individuals who contributed in the past, YCFP has met the needs of hundreds of families like:
- Marie who suffered from post partum depression with out understanding it had a name.
- John who didn't understand why his once sweet baby is now a tantruming two-year-old.
- Zach and Christa who were worried that their preschooler might be delayed.
YCFP was started with grant funds, but we are turning to the community to ensure continued success.
We invite you to support this important work with a financial gift.
With your gift of $25, $50, $100, or whatever you deem appropriate, you will touch the life of a family in the Palouse area. Please print and complete the donation slip and return your tax deductible gift to us.
Your gift will:
- Connect Marie with one of our highly trained First Steps Volunteers who can help her understand post partum depression and how to get over it.
- Connect John with our Parent Educator who can help him identify practical ideas for managing challenging behavior.
- Introduce Zach and Christa to the Ages & Stages Program where our Child Development Specialist can help them track their child's growth and learning.
For the children,
