1.What is the cost of participating in the different YCF Programs?
  

All services of the Young Children & Family Programs are provided free of charge to all residents of Latah and Whitman Counties.

 

2.Do I have to meet specific criteria to participate in the services offered through the Young Children & Family Programs?
  

No, the services of the Young Children & Family Programs are offered to all who are interested in participating.

 

3.Do my children have to be a certain age to participate in the Young Children & Family Programs' services.
  

The majority of our programs work with children ages birth to five, but some of our programs do work with parents who have children beyond five years of age.

 

4.Can I enroll an older child in the Ages & Stages program?
  

Yes, Ages & Stages works with children birth to five years of age and can be started at any time. Contact us today to enroll your child.

 

5.Can I participate in the First Steps program if I did not deliver my baby at Gritman Medical Center?
  

Absolutely! All families who either deliver at Gritman Medical Center, Pullman Memorial Hospital, or Whitman County Hospital and Medical Center or who live in Latah or Whitman Counties can participate in First Steps. Please contact us to enroll today!

 

 

 

 

 

An Oversight Committee comprised of parents, service providers, educators and community leaders from both Latah and Whitman County provides guidance and direction for Young Children and Family Programs of the Palouse. This Committee communicates with the Early Childhood Service Council, which is the official Advisory Board for YCFP.
