The Early Childhood Service Council (ECSC) is a network of representatives from agencies and organizations who work with young children and families in Latah County . ECSC meets regularly to share information about programs and services, coordinate activities, and collaborate on projects. Please contact YCFP for the current meeting schedule.

purpose

The Early Childhood Service Council (ECSC) is a collaboration of early childhood/ family service professionals and advocates working to strengthen resources and services for children and families in Latah County . YCFP was formed in 1997 by the Early Childhood Service and the Council continues to serve in an advisory board capacity.

vision

The Early Childhood Service Council is committed to a comprehensive, coordinated, and responsive array of community services for children ages birth through eight and their families. The Council shares organizational information and resources, identifies and enhances services for children and families, provides public advocacy for children's and family issues, and promotes professional development opportunities.

An Oversight Committee comprised of parents, service providers, educators and community leaders from both Latah and Whitman County provides guidance and direction for Young Children and Family Programs of the Palouse. This Committee communicates with the Early Childhood Service Council, which is the official Advisory Board for YCFP.
