Help us with a school readiness pilot project! Young Children and Family Programs of the Palouse (YCFP) will be implementing a school readiness pilot project in Whitman County this August and we need feedback from parents of children birth to five years. We have developed a new "packet" of information to send to parents that contains resources and information regarding fostering the development of skills, especially social emotional, which are important for healthy development and school success. An Oversight Committee comprised of parents, service providers, educators and community leaders from both Latah and Whitman County provides guidance and direction for Young Children and Family Programs of the Palouse. This Committee communicates with the Early Childhood Service Council, which is the official Advisory Board for YCFP.
